It was fun picking in Missouri at the Fall Family Festival for Harvest Time Family Church. A gorgeous Ozark evening!

We love traveling in the motor home!

On our way to our last gig, we used the travel time to learn some songs. It's so nice to be able to 'relax' while on the road. The motor home is such a blessing to us!

The Miller Boys of Triple L Band

Levi, Lance and Landon Miller ready to hit the road after getting 'un'stuck. Retha and I could easily adopt these guys! What's three more boys to feed anyway, right? :)

Triple L Band bus is stuck!

Triple L Band, Portales, NM, stopped by on their way home from the National Quartet Convention. We received about 5 inches of rain that night and their bus was stuck the next morning in Orin and Retha's yard! Thanks to our friend and neighbor, Brent Mathes for his help in getting them out.

Enjoying Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival in MO

Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival had a great line-up this year! The only bad thing...it rained buckets! Here the boys are sitting out the drizzle that started to fall. Not sure what Logan's doing. :)

Our 'new' band 'bus'

We are SO excited to have our very own wheels for the band! We bought a 1986 Georgie Boy Encounter, 35 ft long, to help accomodate our family's music travels. We are ready to roll!

Final fling before school!

We went to Silver Dollar City yesterday for the last celebration of Summer. I guess the boys thought this picture was fitting since school is soon to be starting. Poor Brad, he couldn't go because of work and college. The jail of life has already slammed it to him! In the picture, L to R, Logan, Madison, Brayden Cole, Travis and Brook Cole.

Breakdown...the dreaded word when you're on the road!

After refueling on our way to a gig, the Suburban wouldn't start. The starter decided it was time to die. Not good when the schedule is tight! Thankfully, we were at Wood Shed gas station in Edna (only 6 miles from our house) and we were able to get Orin & Retha's van and Brad's car. We unloaded the Suburban, loaded their vehicles and were on the way again, only 30 minutes later. :)

Spring River Fly Shop, Mammoth Springs, AR

The guys enjoyed a visit to the Spring River Fly Shop, Mammoth Springs, AR. This is the fly shop, owned by Dale Sorrell and Mark Crawford, that Madison ties flies for. Here Mark is showing them a new fly pattern to tie. Check out http://www.springriverflyshop.com/

The Great Salt Plains of Oklahoma

Our last stop on this roadtrip was at the Great Salt Plains in NW Oklahoma. Here the guys are digging for Selenite crystals. All the white is salt...we know...we tasted it. :) It was a wonderful music roadtrip and vacation!

A definite fly fisherman!

While we were blazing a trail up the mountain, Madison was busy catching trout. He caught a total of 38 that day.

We made it!

Proof that we made it! Madison stayed down below since fishing was more important to him. :)

Which way is North???

Trying to decide which way we are heading as we start our climb up the mountain.

Headed for the top!

When we arrived at Coyote Creek, Brad saw a cross way on top of this mountain and asked, "Aunt Lynette, are you up to climbing up there?" Silly me, I said, "Why not??" About a fourth of the way up, I was beginning to wander if I could make it.

Rio Grande Gorge

Isn't God's landscaping just beautiful? We topped a mountain and there right before our eyes was the Rio Grande Gorge...ous!

The Coles just RVing!

This was just one of the many photo stops that we made. The boys were ready to get to the mountains and set up camp. :)

Some great guys!

The boys took time to pose for a picture on the streets of Santa Fe. Notice Logan's t-shirt...he loved the Triple L Band shirts that Amy gave him. He advertised all over NM for them! :)

What a contrast!

At our show in Rio Rancho, NM, Brad made quite an impression on this little lady. He was almost double her height!

Our great friends of Triple L Band

Not only are the Millers of Triple L Band great musicians, they are an awesome family and wonderful friends! Thanks, Len, Amy, Lance, Landon and Levi for showing us such a great time! We love you guys!

And they call this a lake? :)

Since they are able to go fishing at numerous ponds, lakes and some streams, the guys couldn't get used to the fact that this was the only watering hole in Portales, NM. Can you tell they are having withdrawals? :)

On our recent roadtrip, we performed at gigs in OK, TX and NM. Here we are waiting in between shows in Amarillo, TX. The trip was a fun experience!

This sign is in the McDonald's parking lot in Cassville, MO. We all enjoyed a recent camping/fishing trip to Roaring River, south of Cassville.

New Blog!

OK, we are going to try something different...we are BLOGGING! This should prove to be a fun and easy way to keep you updated on the whereabouts of our family and what we might even be doing outside of music.

Please be patient as we all take our turns trying to navigate the blogsphere and attempt to set up a way of interaction with our fans and friends.

Looking forward to seeing you here!
